THE IDEA

One NFT. Everything that makes it yours.

A songwriter uploads the lyrics as a Word doc, the sample as an audio track, and a rough video of the music video. All into one NFT. Now the complete creation lives inside a single record in their digital wallet. Tamper-proof. Timestamped. Portable.

If the laptop dies, the cloud account closes, or the folder gets deleted, the proof is still there. Sealed on the BASE blockchain, attached to their wallet, following them wherever they go. The idea lives on regardless of their personal record-keeping.

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps. Minutes, not months.

Metadata

Creator name, project name, category (copyright, trademark, patent), and a description of the work being protected.

Upload

Upload any supporting media: text documents, images, audio samples, video, or any combination. One NFT can hold everything that makes the work yours.

Process

LockboxZ generates a cryptographic hash of the files and registers it on the BASE blockchain with a verifiable timestamp.

Mint NFT

A certificate NFT is minted to the creator’s wallet. It contains the record, lives in their wallet, and follows them wherever they go.

LockboxZ is an additional measure. A tamper-proof, timestamped, blockchain-based record that helps establish first use. It is not a substitute for formal intellectual property registration through the appropriate legal and governmental channels (USPTO, U.S. Copyright Office, or equivalent bodies in your jurisdiction).

A LockboxZ NFT is not a legal patent, copyright, or trademark, and should not be treated as one in a court of law. For full legal protection and enforceability, creators should still pursue formal registration through qualified legal counsel. LockboxZ is designed to complement that process, not replace it.
