Prepare for Your InboxPro Install

Your InboxPro installation is a guided session where James Salinas will set up the add-on directly in your Google account. To make the session as smooth and fast as possible, please complete the following 5 steps before your appointment.

Step 1: Confirm Your Gmail Account

Make sure you know which Gmail account you want InboxPro installed on. If you use multiple Google accounts, decide in advance which one will receive the installation. You will need to be logged into this account during the session.

InboxPro is licensed for a single Gmail account per purchase. If you need it on multiple accounts, each requires a separate license.

Step 2: Use a Desktop Computer

The installation session requires a desktop or laptop computer with a modern web browser (Chrome is recommended). The installation cannot be completed on a mobile device or tablet. Make sure your computer is charged or plugged in and has a stable internet connection.

Step 3: Close Unnecessary Tabs & Apps

Before the session, close any unnecessary browser tabs and applications. This ensures your computer runs smoothly during the screen-share and prevents any private information from being visible on screen. Keep only your Gmail tab open (logged into the correct account).

Step 4: Be Ready to Grant Permissions

During the installation, Google will ask you to authorize InboxPro to access your Gmail account. You will see a permissions screen listing the OAuth scopes InboxPro requires. You must click "Allow" to proceed. This is a standard Google security step — without it, the add-on cannot be installed.

Step 5: Set Aside 15–20 Minutes

The installation session typically takes 15–20 minutes. Please make sure you're available for the full duration without interruptions. The session includes:

• Installing the InboxPro script into your Google account
• Authorizing the necessary permissions
• Testing the add-on to confirm it's working
• A brief walkthrough of InboxPro's features

What Happens During the Session

James Salinas will guide you through the entire installation process via screen-share (Google Meet, Zoom, or similar). You will be in control of your own screen at all times. James will provide step-by-step instructions and you will perform each action on your own computer. At no point will anyone else have direct access to your Google account.

Once the installation is complete, we will test InboxPro together to confirm it's working correctly. You'll also receive a brief walkthrough of the main features so you can start using InboxPro right away.
